Where to Find Paper in Aloft

How to Make Paper

Once you start unlocking recipes, you will eventually be able to make your own paper from scratch. In order to do this, you will need to build a Workbench . You can find this recipe as one of the original few recipes on the main starting islands. In the Workbench's recipe menu, mix together one Glasswort, three Small Plants, and one Clean Water . You cannot use dirty water for this recipe.

This will give you Paper Pulp . Go back into the Workbench and combine five Paper Pulps to make one sheet of Paper . Here are the places you can get all the ingredients you'll need for Paper Pulp.

• Clean Water : Mix Charcoal and Dirty Water in your crafting menu or at the Workbench.
• Small Plants : Using a Sickle, cut down any of the plants growing around; most will yield some of these little green leaves.
• Glasswort : This plant can be found on some islands; it kind of looks like coral. I have included a screenshot of what it looks like below. You need a Sickle to collect it, and it also gives Small Plants when cut down.

What is the use of Paper in Aloft?
